Imagine a peaceful quiet Earth enriched retreat

 Set in 340 secluded acres of untouched bush land with its own fresh water dams perfect for Summer time  swimming and  enjoyment. Ideal for bush walking or simply relaxing.


Accommodation
 PHILLIP HOUSE
     This facility can sleep up to 18 people comfortably.
  • 3 self-contained one bedroom apartments are attached to the main building. Each apartment has a sitting room, kitchenette, full bathroom and can be configured as either one or two bedrooms. Each apartment has its own private outdoor seating area.

Main House
  • The huge open plan dining and sitting area, together with the large undercover space provided by the wide verandah, creates a number of options when planning sessions with groups. There are many break out areas and Phillip House would be an ideal and flexible space for conducting workshops or any type of group gathering.  The large barbecue on the verandah is ideal for outdoor entertaining and easy meals.
 
  • The main house has 5 large bedrooms and the bedrooms can be arranged on request. One has 3 single beds, 2 have 2 single beds and 2 have a double bed. Each room has ceiling fans and wall mounted heaters.

  • There is a large open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area measuring 8 metres by 8 metres. The modern fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, 2 large fridges, toaster etc and comes equipped with crockery and cooking utensils. There is air conditioning in the lounge room.
  • There is a games room with pool table, table tennis table and badminton.
Bathrooms
  • There are two spacious modern bathrooms as well as a separate toilet. One of these is wheelchair accessible.
Verandah 
  • A large under cover verandah on either side of the house offers a wonderful space for entertaining, informal gatherings, small group work or simply relaxing and enjoying the natural bushland setting.
Tent Sites
  • There are tent sites and a separate amenities block comprising three showers with hot water and three toilets for campers. Access to power is available.  Unfortunately due to storm damage the tents are no longer there but there is the space for byo tents.
Activities
  • This beautiful property is home to an abundance of wildlife, particularly kangaroos, goannas and wombats.  We have a family of wedge tailed eagles, often seen soaring overhead, as well as a huge variety of cockatoos, parrots, honey eaters and wrens. Photographers are welcome. In order to protect our precious wildlife, no dogs or domestic pets are permitted on the property. 
  • The entire property consists of 340 acres and there are a number of walking trails- depending on availability.  You are guaranteed exclusive use of the 50 acres on the Phillip House site.
Group training or workshop facilities
  • Phillip House can also be booked for a day workshop, meeting or similar event. The facilities on offer plus the surrounding barn and verandah area could easily accommodate large groups.  PLEASE NOTE - The Barn has been upgraded in March 2016, to better accommodate group use and is available at an extra cost.
  • About 200 metres from the main house and next to the dam is a large barn with a covered verandah, as well as separate  basic toilet and shower facilities. We are able to provide tables and chairs for group work as well as a white board, data projector, large screen and creative materials. 
  • There is a swimming dam an easy walking distance from the house, ideal for hot summer days. There are kayaks also available on request.


MAYUMARRI
Main Building
A large open plan lounge and dining area, with a huge kitchen, pantry and cool room. There are 2 spacious seating areas outside for dining, next to the building as well. Adjacent there is also a chapel, with sweeping views, across the dam and valley. This venue is available for church groups, health organisations and well being retreats, such as yoga, mindfulness and art therapy groups.



BEDROOMS
The bedrooms are housed in 4 separate cabins, each cabin with its own bathroom. The cabins are situated around 20 metres from the main building. There are 2 balconies off each cabin.



ACTIVITIES
There is a large lake with canoes provided, walking tracks, and lots of opens spaces for ball sports. Due to the large amount of local fauna, kangaroos, wombats, birds and horses, domestic pets are not permitted.


GROUP TRAINING - WORKSHOPS 
Our large barn provides a fantastic workshop space. It has kitchen facilities and an adjoining bathroom and laundry. There is an expansive balcony that looks out over the lake. It is situated 100 metres from the cabins and has wheelchair access. It is a great space for conferences, meetings, workshops and any other group activity.


HENNESSY HOUSE
Main Building
This facility is one large building, with large open plan lounge-dining and kitchen, 8 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, for up to 16 people. There is a large front verandah that overlooks grassy fields, with the Watagan mountain range in the distance. Wheelchair access throughout, and large parking area.
Bedrooms
There are 8 bedrooms,1 with an on suite bathroom. 5 bedrooms at one end, 3 at the other. Each room has it's own unique paint colour, cupboards and overhead fans.
Group training- workshops
Alongside the main building is a separate workshop room. This space is great for meetings, workshops and group activity. There is also a private garden alongside. Air-conditioning is provided. This workshop room is available for an additional fee of $500. This space is well suited for young people or youth groups.
